4 Aashramas&4Varnas in Veda Samhitas

4 Aashramas&4Varnas in Veda Samhitas
I cursorily read the 4 Veda Samhitas (did not read the related Brahmanas,Aranyakas&Upanishads).
Aaashranas: In Vedas,  references are made to 4 aashramas( Brahmacharya,Gruhastha, vanaprastha & Sanyas). But in Ramayana,Mahabharata, episodes of Krishna & others in Maha Bhagavatam, a large number of the people including Kings,Poets & Brahmins, Muni-Rushies did not follow the sequential 4 aashramas. Vedas stress the importance of both Aihika (Material) & Aamushmika(spiritual) as rqually important to humans. Getting married & enjoying with family members incl wife do not bar from paraloka chintana (moksha). Rugveda,Brahmanas& Upanishads concentrate on Aamushmiks-daiva sambandha aspects.
4 VARNAS (Castes/Communities): 4 Varnas are mentioned elaborately in Yajurveda-Rug –Purusha Sookta explain the origin of vishva & 4 types of Varnas/people. The 4 varnas are based on Karmas-characteristics of people, & not at all on birth.
More on the aashramas & Varnas later.
