Motorola working on Moto 360 successor codenamed “Smelt”?

Last month, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing accidentally leaked a photo that showed a possible Moto 360 successor. Today, some more information about the Moto 360 successor has surfaced. A popular app developer" recently had an unknown Motorola-made Android Wear device connect to his Android developer console. The location of the ping came from Mundelein, a city which is actually not too far from Motorola's HQ in Chicago, thus increasing suspicion and speculation that the device could be an upcoming wearable. The name of the device is not revealed and has the codename "Smelt" . It is said to be running on Android 5.1. with a display resolution of 360×360 which is a slight increase over the Moto 360 which has a 320×290 display. The processor is said to be "armeabi-v7a", which also seems like a codename. Previously leaked photos had suggested that there will be two different sizes for the Moto 360 successor and there is a possibility that is might support normal watch straps.

WWE Studios and British production-financing company Richwater Films

Rampage - according to Variety. Eliminators will be directed by James Nunn
and star Scott Adkins and WWE's Wade Barrett. The story follows a former

get his daughter to safety. Eliminators will start shooting in London in
the late spring. Rampage, currently in development, follows an American
counter terrorism operative who must work with an English MI5 agent to
take down a dangerous terrorist in London. WWE and Richwater plan for the
film to go into production later this year. "Having watched WWE
programming since the 1991 Royal Rumble and regarding Vince McMahon as the
ultimate entrepreneurial pioneer, I am thrilled to be in business with WWE
Studios," said Jonathan Sothcott, CEO and founder of Richwater Films.

WWE GRANTS NXT’S CJ PARKER HIS RELEASE

today after Parker requested it. "WWE has come to terms on the release of
NXT Superstar CJ Parker, as of today, April 3, 2015. WWE wishes CJ Parker

the best in all his future endeavors," said a short statement on the
WWE.COM website. Parker was at WrestleMania weekend and participated in
the NXT-related events, his last ones for the company. On April 1, he
thanked all the coaches, staff, and fans in a message on Twitter and then

LESNAR EXPECTED BACK IN TIME FOR SUMMERSLAM

Brock Lesnar is expected to be off WWE television up until the build to
SummerSlam, which makes that around 4 months. The sheriff of Suplex City,
Bitch, was "suspended indefinitely" on Raw after he destroyed the Raw
announce team of Michael Cole, JBL, and Booker T, flipping the broadcast
booth on JBL and Booker and then F5'ing Michael Cole out of his shoe. He
then F5'ed the cameraman as an exclamation point. Stephanie McMahon
suspended Brock and then announced she was fining him as well. The
suspension is obviously a storyline to explain Lesnar's time away from WWE
television due to the way his contract is drawn up. Lesnar only has a set
of dates to work per year and is brought in for the big and important
events.

JUSTIN ROBERTS RIPS WWE FOR SKEWING WARRIOR AWARD AND CONNOR’S STORY

Former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts launched an attack on WWE and
their way of skewing certain stories to make the company look good, with
the most recent one being the Warrior Award and the induction of his good
friend Connor Michalek at the Hall of Fame. Roberts noted how at the Hall
of Fame last year, Warrior suggested that the company should honor those
hardworking people behind the scenes and now WWE edited the speech to make
it sound like WWE should honor those outside the company, "because that
might make for a better story - and for better publicity." Roberts added
that he came up with the whole idea of having Connor coming down the aisle
and beat Big E for the "InterConnornental" title after Stephanie McMahon
asked Roberts what they can give to little Connor when he visited Raw in

D.C. The whole plan was changed and Triple H inserted himself in and got
"knocked out" by Connor instead and Roberts, who wanted to introduce
Connor in the ring, was not allowed to do so. Justin Roberts goes over the
whole back story of his friendship with Connor and how WWE manipulated
everything so them, as a company, can look better rather than doing it
just for Connor. Roberts also included a tweet from McMahon, who retweeted
the Twitter co-founder quote at the WWE Business Partners meeting last
week which said "Philanthropy is the future of marketing, it's the way
brands are going to win." You can read the interesting blog at

THE BIHAR SCHOOL OF CHEATING

 The Times of India (Mumbai)
THE BIHAR SCHOOL OF CHEATING
Since the '60s, mass copying has been honed to a fine, flagrant art in Bihar. From chasing the paper-setter to wooing the evaluator, students put in a `fair' bit of work
The bizarre photograph in which people hung precariously from window sills and perched on narrow ledges, flinging cheat sheets into the exam hall where their children or friends were grappling with question papers, may have caused a lot of jaws to drop elsewhere in India and abroad but no one in Bihar is particularly staggered at the idea of exams as a community enterprise. Bihar's students have been practising the Open Book Exam long before the West stumbled on the idea. In fact, in this school of examgiving everyone is invited to help -parents, family, neighbourhood, tutors and even teachers.
The practice of cheating at the inter mediate and matriculation examinations started sometime in the late '60s when in the wake of student agitations, youth power found a new meaning in the state. Over the next decades, cheating was polished to a fine, flagrant art.
Exams, recalls S Kumar, who grew up in Munger, used to be carnival time around the town's four government schools. Thousands would descend during the exam mela. The modus operandi was for a “helper“ to nip into the school, get the answer and question sheets out, sit in the shade of the verandahs of hospitable homes and write the exam along with helping hands chipping in with inspiration, hot chai and moral support.
“At least four people would accompany babua in his tryst to clear the paper -the father or any elderly male from the family, a sprightly kid who could scurry fast into the school and fetch the paper, one brainy guy can answer the questions and often, a concerned and caring neighbour,“ he recalls. “As an English speaker I used to be in great demand. In return, you get plied with samosa and rasgulla.“
The escort party with a student does whatever it takes to either ensure that the entire paper is answered outside while the student patiently sits at his desk or sends in correct answers for him to copy. Officially, the exams lasted three hours but as long as you dropped the answer sheets off at the school before 5pm, you were safe. “Sab utaar liye kya (have you copied everything)?“ the anxious question went around as the sun dipped on the horizon.
The onus of a great performance thus depends on the support system. It isn't rare to hear a petulant kid tick off his heartbroken father outside: “I told you there would be questions from Chapter 10 but you wouldn't listen.“
The rot spread so deep that in the 1990s, the Patna high court was compelled to intervene in the matter and conduct the matriculation exam, recalls a retired government schoolteacher MK Rai. “After that, there were fewer reports of unfair means being practised by state board students,“ he claims. But the photograph that went viral last week clearly shows that organized cheating is still deeply entrenched in the state's education system.
Last year, about 1,200 students were expelled for using unfair means while this year, 766 students have already been expelled from March 17 to 19. “But things are not like that everywhere,“ counters an indignant invigilator at a school in West Champaran.
The matriculation exam is the first benchmark in the life of a Bihar student and a `matric pass' commands much respect in the countryside. In fact, in the 1970s, the government of Karpoori Thakur announced that a student, no matter if he or she failed in English in matric examinations, would be deemed as `matric pass'. Consequently `Karpoori division' became a household word.
It is not that examinees elsewhere in the country are beyond using unfair means but students who have been through the Bihar board system say they would stick out like a sore thumb if they didn't cheat. “How is it cheating? It isn't that one-fourth or half the room is cheating. If everyone is cheating and you don't, well, you feel cheated, no?“ It is hard to find fault with that comeback.
Once the photograph went viral, the state response was defensive. State education minister PK Shahi said the government was helpless in dealing with the situation. The board chairman report edly pinned the responsibility for the fair conduct of exams on district magistrates.Objecting to this, Patna high court and Bihar Human Rights Commission on Friday directed the state government to ensure free and fair conduct of matriculation exams. Unless every one of the 14 lakh students appearing for the matric exam this year was cheating, why couldn't the state government control the situation, asked the panel.
CM Nitish Kumar maintains that the photographs “do not present a complete picture...Bihari students have a lot of talent and have carved a space for themselves in the country and abroad“. Outraged at the response to the scam, teachers in Patna point out that a large number of Bihar students clear competitive exams every year without gaming any system. Ironically enough, that is true as well.
Reporting by Vithika Salomi in Patna
On Your Marks....
A failsafe four-step formula has traditionally ensured success in exams in Bihar. According to insiders, this is how it works:
1 Find and break the man who is setting the paper
This is not very easy but that doesn't deter most aspirants. You first use all the resources at your disposal to find the man and then drop in with a dabba of mithai and other inducements. You could befriend, cajole, flatter or even threaten the guy into coughing up critical information.
2 Find the printing press
If Step 1 failed, you sniff out the press -easy enough in a small city. Thereafter you follow the formula given above.
3 Fix a friendly exam centre |
Land a centre in a town or village where your uncle is a biggie or where your clan has clout, and life becomes even easier. Children are known to travel miles for a smooth setting for Steps 1-4.
4 Charm the evaluator
Find out who is checking the paper. checking the paper. This is a win-all step that ensures smooth sailing even if you muffed all other steps. The answer to the question -“paper kahan gaya“ -is usually the worst-guarded secret in a school. Thereafter, you take a bus or train and do whatever it takes armed, again, with mithai and money .

 Sent to brighten your day!

Like Your Dislikes

Like Your Dislikes
In our lives there are probably activities we dislike, people we don't like....  Most often, irritation and anger arises from being rigid about what and who we like and dislike.

The next time you find yourself saying, "I don't like..." pause and ask yourself, "Can I like this dislike?  Can I find something positive about this dislike?"  If you can't, then maybe dislike a little less!

Liking your dislikes might just make you calmer and an easier person to be around!
Inner Power
When there is the connection outside without looking within, there is the inability to be the best and do the best in situations. Instead, if there is a constant connection within, before the connection is made outside, then it becomes easy to express the inner qualities necessary to deal with the problems outside. When we allow our mind to get disturbed over small things, it will cost us our peace of mind. We are not able to retain our inner power, which is needed to experience freedom. On the other hand, if we are able to retain our inner peace, we can be connected with our innate divine nature. We are able to experience true mastery.
The Thought Destiny Cycle
The process by which we create our own destiny is quite easy to see in theory; however it requires some checking to see how it matches the reality of our practical lives.  Here is the process in brief:

* As our intentions, so will be our thoughts.
* As our thoughts, so will be our feelings.
* As our feelings, so will be our attitudes.
* As our attitudes, so will be our actions.
* As our actions, so will be our habits.
* As our habits, so will be our personality.

As our personality in all our relationships on our journey through life, so will be our destiny. So watch your thoughts! Be aware of your intentions!

Our intentions are based on our beliefs about who we are, where we are and why we are here.   If we believe we are the physical form, our belief will we be that we need to survive as long as possible. This leads to the intention to get what we think we need before others, which leads to competition, which leads to feelings of fear.  Our destiny gets shaped accordingly. When you know you are the non-physical and immortal (which is neither created nor can be destroyed) energy, a soul, then survival is no longer an issue and your intention is one toinclude, connect and co-operate with and enlighten others.   The service of others at a spiritual level becomes the highest intention in action.  It is fully free from fear and can be seen as an act of love.  This is why competition and authentic spirituality can never be found together.
Soul Sustenance
The Limitless Mind
If we compare the two entities – mind and matter – the most obvious difference between the two that comes to the forefront is that one is non-physical and the other is physical. Another very important difference between the two is that whereas on one hand, matter has limits, in the sense, that’s its fixed in time and space. The mind, on the other hand, is beyond limits, in terms of physical parameters. It’s not fixed in time and space.

When we take a close look at what is going on in our mind, its power becomes visible to us. Since its not fixed in space, it can link me to a friend in, as far as, Washington or Singapore in less than a second. My mind can even move in many different directions at once. Since the mind is not fixed in time, I can think about yesterday, or about fifteen years ago; about tonight, or the next three years. That’s the reason we can say that the mind is limitless, hence powerful.

Thoughts also have different levels of power. Sometimes they fly past the mind leaving hardly any impact on us. At other times, they are accompanied by such feelings so as to influence our entire perception, even our complete inner mental state. Thinking about a visit to Kashmir I made last year, for e.g., I could find myself carried back mentally into the beautiful experience and its attached emotions. Filled with happiness, I will even radiate this happiness to others nearby, through my thoughts, facial expressions, words and actions. On the other hand, thoughts about the death of my close relative a few years ago will have an opposite impact on me in the present moment.

Message for the day

To consider oneself an instrument of God is to be light.
Expression: To be an instrument of God means to allow God's qualities to flow through one's life. It means to be available for God's task to happen. The ones who considers himself to be an instrument neither has ego of the work that is done through him nor has he any difficulty in dealing with situations. He is able to do everything well and with ease.

Experience: When I am an instrument of God, I am able to remain light even while being responsible. Being an instrument I would naturally consider myself responsible for God's task to be done through me. Also since I am God's instrument, I feel the responsibility of making myself more and more beautiful.

Too Many Words

Too Many Words
In meetings or in conversations, in emails or other written communications, we often use 100 words when 10 would suffice.

Too many words can dilute the message and result in confusion and non-productivity.

There is a time and place for using many words, but at other times, try getting your point across with fewer words.
Make your communication concise, clear and to the point.
Mastering Situations
The usual response to negative stimuli in the environment is to react negatively. The impact of such stimuli on the sense organs is
negative, which brings out negative behavior too. The one who is able to spend a few moments in silence before responding to situations is to be a master who is free from negativity. When I am a master I am able to remain stable in all situations. I have the practice of calming my mind and looking at the situation in the right perspective.

My mind grows strong in its commitment to peace and truth in action.

I don't allow the sense organs work according to the previous
conditioning. Instead I consciously monitor, giving them right
direction.
Simple Exercise To Identify Your Hidden Fears
If you want to overcome and overpower fears that exist inside you, you have to first take a look at your feelings and hidden emotions. After realizing your feelings and emotions, you have to know how to manage them and finally correct or overcome them. Given below is a simple exercise that will help you to achieve that.  This exercise will help you identify the conscious and sometimes sub-conscious (very subtle) fears that lie inside you.
Choose an area of your life that you feel is negative and needs some improvement. Now, ask yourself these three questions:
1. What do I really want, what is my aim and objective?
2. What obstacle/obstacles are stopping me from achieving my objectives?
3. What prevents me from dealing with or overcoming that obstacle?

For each fear that comes to you in response to the question no. 3, ask yourself the following questions:
A. What is the worst that can happen, if what I fear occurs?
B. What is the best possible result for me and for others, if I do it even though I feel afraid of doing it?
C. Keeping in front of you the answer to question B and comparing it with the answer to question A will inspire you to overcome the fears that lie inside you.
Soul Sustenance
What Is And What Is Not Real Happiness?
Real happiness is not an external stimulation by watching an action movie or eating out or buying a new dress; it is not the result of acquiring something – whether it be a new car or a position, or of receiving some good news. True happiness is not relief from suffering – whether from an illness or a difficult situation, nor is it the achievement of a goal – whether personal or professional. All these are externally dependent, where happiness is confused withstimulation, excitement, achievement, acquisition or relief. Happiness is not all of these. You also know that happiness is not a future promise. It can only be experienced now.

So what is spiritual happiness - perhaps a better way to describe spiritual happiness is contentment. This comes from a complete awareness and acceptance of the self as we are now at an internal level, and an acceptance of what is at an external level. Sounds difficult? The highest happiness is bliss which can be experienced only when the soul/self is totally free of all attachment and dependency. Sounds even more difficult? But this is a spiritual understanding and definition of happiness, which is not difficult to accept and make a part of our life, once there is a deep understanding and absorption of spiritual knowledge, but spiritual knowledge which is accurate and complete in all aspects. Spiritual happiness is a direct result of spiritual knowledge. Without complete knowledge of the self, one cannot remain ever and truly happy (happy as per the definition above).

Message for the day
The one who is loving is the one who experiences freedom.

Expression: The root of suffering is attachment, because attachment makes one bound. To be truly free means to learn to love and appreciate while remaining independent. Others' state of mind or task does not negatively influence one's own responses to the outside environment. There is the ability to be free and express one's own specialities without being coloured.

Experience: If I cannot keep myself free from attachment I am constantly experiencing suffering. Because I am attached, I am dependent on someone or something I have created a space for in my mind. When that person or object is criticized, neglected or not with me, I feel pain in my mind and I experience a sense of loss. Then I am not able to be loving.
