O Madhusudana, even if I am killed, I do not want to kill these even for the sake of a kingdom extending over the three worlds; what to speak of doing so for the earth!

O Janardana, what happiness shall we derive by killing the sons of Dhrtarastra? Sin alone will accrue to us by killing these felons.

Therefore, it is not proper for us to kill the sons of Dhrtarastra who are our own relatives. For, O Madhava, how can we be happy by killing our kinsmen?

(1.38 1.39) O Janardana, although these people, whose hearts have become perverted by greed, do not see the evil arising from destroying the family and sin in hostility towards, friends, yet how can we who clearly see the evil arising from destroying the family remain unaware of (the need of) abstaining from this sin?

In the destruction of a family, the immemorial religious rites of that family perish; on the destruction of spirituality, impiety, indeed, overcomes the whole family.

By the prevalence of impiety, O Krishna, the women of the family become corrupt; and , women being corrupted, O Varshenya (descendant of Vrishni), there arises intermingling of castes.

And the intermingling in the family leads the ruiners of the family verily into hell. The forefathers of these fall down (into hell) because of being deprived of the offerings of rice-balls and water.

Eswara is Sarva Vypakam(infinite in space) and Anantam (infinite in time). Eswara Chaitanyam/ Eswara Sakti/Eswara Jhnanam as the inseparable energy just like the sun light which is inseparable from the Sun is also Sarva Vyapakam and Anantam. Eswara is in Sarva Bhutamulu as Atma and Eswari is in Sarva Bhutamulu as Atma Chaitanyam. Mata Gayatri as Eswara Chaitanya Swarupini is in the form of different types of Prana Sakti in Jivulu (individuals) and thus Mata empowers and activates the seven knowledge based systems namely Buddi (intellect as a decision maker), Manasu (mind as an experiencing agent), and the five senses(as interfaces with the world) to carry out the different types of functionalities just like the electric power which is primarily responsible for heating as well as cooling in heaters and coolers respectively.
Buddi is subjected to the virus program Dvaitam (Dualism) due to the influence of Jivaatma Buddi. Jiva Bhaavam (personal feeling) is an effect of ignorance(Ajhnanam) because a personal Bhaavam(concept) means a separate opinion (Prati Ekam). As Eswara is Adviteeyam (Ekam) and Nijam(Satyam) , there is no fact other than Eswara(Ekam and Nijam) and as such there is no Prati (alternative) to Eswara(Ekam). Apart from this truth, we are all like instruments in the hands of Eswara as we do not have any control over production (Srushthi), stay for some period(sustaining) and dissolution(Layam) of a cell within our body. Thus Eswara is Karta(subject) and Bhokta(object) . Whatever happens in Jagath, it is only in accordance with the Icchha Sakti(will) of Eswara and as per the Jhnana Sakti (algorithm) of Eswara and as per the Kriya Sakti (implementation power) of Eswara. Thus Jiva Bhaavam which is subjected to Karta Bhaavam and Bhokta Bhaavam is an effect of Brama (illusion) and it further leads to Mati Bramanam.. Even though all the bodies of Jivulu are composed of same Pancha Bhutamulu and they contain the same Sapta Dhatuvulu, an individual feels that he is different from other Jivulu due to this Asthira Buddi. Accordingly Buddi is always associated with Sareeram (body) which is mortal. Due to this malfunctioning of Buddi , its sub ordinate Manasu (mind) is subjected to Vikaaramulu (Vikruta Aakaaramulu) changes/ displacements and does not remain in its Swa Sthiti(Native state). These six types of Vikaaramulu are in the form of the six inter linked enemies (Ari Shat Vargam) which keep Manasu always involved in a permanent loop. Thus this group(Vargam) acts as the root cause for all Klesamulu (sorrows). The reason being Manasu (mind) as directed by Buddi experiences the worldly pleasures/ pains through the five senses which act as the interacting agents with the world. As there is no perfect happiness in the sensual pleasures and as they are temporary and end up with misery and frustration, Manasu(mind) always lives in the worldly matters and thus it acts against its own interest through disturbing its own peace/place by not remaining in its Home state little realizing that Eswara/ Atma as Chidaananda Rupam is in Deham/ Gruham as its Adipathi(Lord) in all Bhutamulu.
Due to the Krupa(grace) of a Sat Guru , Buddi of a Jiva is united with Sat/Nityam/Ekam. When Buddi is associated with Sat(Nityam), Buddi would be free from Deha Bhaavam(Anitya Buddi) just like darkness (Ajhnanam/ignorance) prevailing all over the night disappears all of a sudden after the Sunrise. The sunlight consisting of seven colors signifies the Absolute knowledge(Brahma Jhnanam). Due to Ekaatmakam of Buddi with Sat(union of Buddi and Sat), the seven types of energy/ knowledge as embedded in Buddi, Manasu and the five senses become united into one as the Absolute Knowledge (Brahma Jhnanam/Prajhnanam ) like the sun light. As energy saved is energy produced, the withdrawn and united Sakti/ Jhnamm reaches back its source Eswara Sakti/Atma Sakti. This enlightenment is nothing but activation of the third eye (Agni Netram/Prajhnana Netram ) in a Jiva and thus Jiva Chaitanyam (individual consciousness) reaches back its origin/source that is Eswara Chaitnyam/Atma Chaitanyam because the activated third eye(Agni Netram/PraJhnana Netram) nullifies the effect of dualism(Dvatam) as it is equidistant from both the opposite sides of duality(Dvaitam). This spiritual state implies that Jiva Bhaavam would disappear as Eswara Bhaavam (Adviteeyam) is fixed in Hrudayam.___

Sareeram is a Saadhnam(Vastuvu) for acquisition of Parama Artham(Saakaaram of Dhanam). The process of earning Parama Artham is Saadhana(spiritual practice).
As Sareeram is a vastuvu composed of five materials(Pancha Bhutamulu) ,
one needs to drive away Vastu Drushthi from mind to for realization (Saakaram of Dhanam/Parama Artham) of Vaastavam (Truth) as Vastu /Sareera Drushthi (materialistic outlook) causes Vaancha (desire). Vaancha in turn leads to Sanchita Karmalu(accumulation of Paapa Punyamulu in the form of debits and credits) which lead to deaths and births.
Sareeram like a firewood needs to be burnt one day. When a person develops the habit of taking tea/coffee without sugar, it would be difficult for him to take tea/coffee with sugar one day .
Exactly on the same lines, if a Saadhaka/ Mumukshuvu exposes Sareeram to Taapam(heat) gradually by doing Tapam(by following austerities) as Adhyatmika Saadhana (spiritual practice), the Saadhaka would develop Virakti/ Viragam (dispassion) towards the sensual pleasures like sugar. This leads to Mukti(freedom) from attachment with Deham(Deha Moham) and Deha Moha Kshayam is Moksham(liberation from the cycle of births deaths)

The Belittling of 'House-wives'

I've come to note that the term 'Housewife' is looked upon with much disdain in present times. Depending on one's family dynamics, economic situation and so on, women should be free to choose a career. What people forget is part of this 'Choice' also includes the choice not to have one.

My grandmother- a most ideal matriarch- was a homemaker. Likewise, my mother, who once intended to study dentistry but *voluntarily* gave up that aspiration after marriage (she and my father graduated in the same year from the same college) to do something she found to be a more meaningful pursuit: Being a full time mother and wife. And in doing so she lived with complete autonomy. She would write 'Housewife' in the 'Profession' section of forms with the same pride and dignity that someone would if they were the CEO of a Company. Maybe more.

Please note I do recognize the growing need for financial independence today, after all times have changed and the stability of relationships is choppy to say the least. In these cases not having a career and monetary backup can lead to serious problems. But I disagree with the presupposition that in a family that is financially well-positioned, if the lady decides to hold the fort down while the man goes out as a bread earner, she is somehow a disgrace to her gender and is working against their empowerment. At least this is the ugly argument Feminists put-forward.

Just as it is wrong to force a woman to not have a career, it is equally vile to shame her into joining the work-force when the situation and her personal preference lie elsewhere.

A great painter once came to a prince and offered to do a fresco on a palace wall; behind him came another, who declared that he would paint on the opposite wall whatever painting the first one drew! The prince ordered a thick curtain in between the painters while they were painting. Both were commissioned to start the task. The second person finished his work the exact same moment the first one completed. The prince arrived, saw the fresco and admired it very much. Then he ordered the curtain to be removed, and lo, on the wall facing the fresco, was an exact duplicate of the picture that the first man had so laboriously painted! Exact — because the second painter polished the wall, making it a fine big mirror! Similarly, you must make your hearts clean, pure and smooth, so that the glory of the Lord might be reflected therein, and the Lord might see His own image on it.

Guru Daivam Hanumam is Tatva Jhnana Pradaayakam.
Maala(garland) which is neither Savyam (left to right) nor Apa Sayam(right to left) signifies Jhnanam like Agni which is Sarva Bhakshkam whether it is Suddam or Asuddam.
Srimad Ramayanam consisting of twenty four thousand Slokamulu is Maha Maala as Tatva Jhnanam.
As Ratnam of Srimad Ramayanam(Maha Maala), Sri Hanuman is Tatva Jhnana Pradaayakam.
Sundara Kaanda is Ratnam of Srimad Ramayana Maha Maala.
Sri Hanuman as Sundara Swarupam (Ekadasa Rudra Avataram) and Sri Rama Duutam(Sri Rama Nama Prachaarakam) like Ratnam(Dedeepya Maanam) demonstrates that Sri Rama Namam is Jaya Kaarakam as Moksha Pradaayakakam in a magnificent way(Sundaram). This Rama Nama Satyam(Truth) as Sivam(Taaraka Mantra Pradaayakam) and as Sundaram (Eswara/Atma Jhnana Pradaayakam) is Tatva Jhnanam(Tat Tvam Asi)
