www.telugubhakti.com Appeal

Swami Omkarananda ji, a traditional teacher of Vedanta (disciple of Swami Paramarthananda ji) makes the following appeal (translated below by Raghu Bhaskaran)
"There will be no Dharma without Dhaarmis",

If Hindus who practice Shastras, pray to our gods, learn and teach literature life Thirukkural, practice our arts are reduced to a minority, this civilization will cease to exist.

It is already the case in many parts of the country including Kerala.

There are those who seek this state, they seek to see Nataraja replaced in Chidambaram with Jesus.

A culture which sees the divine in the rivers, the trees and all nature, doesn't seek to impose itself on other countries or preach hatred towards others.

But if this country doesn't survive as the land of Hindus, then Hindu Dharma itself will not survive.

It would not be politically correct for a Swamiji to say anything beyond this. But it is not enough if we sit in a corner and lament. This should reflect in life and field work.

Do not assume that since it is not happening to you, you are not at risk, have a thought beyond your own self and circles.
