[racchabanda] రచ్చబండ కవితలు

Finished reading another drama from the Agatha Christie in my home Library. It is "Go Back for Murder." Liked it.

The last sentences in both plays give the author away. She is a bloody romantic. I went to the very first page of this collection of Christie's dramas, to check her out. And there it is. From The editors. Agatha Christie wrote six romances under the pen name of Mary Westmacott. Jolly good. Did I not notice this weakness for romance in her before? Or did I forget it over time. Ah! The memory! The pitfalls of Memory.

In this play, what Agatha Christie says about 'memory' is no less scientific than, what I read in a current article - Titled "Committed to Memory – How does memory shape our sense of who we are?" - giving briefly the views of 15 teachers and scientists from different disciplines. (Rochester Review – University of Rochester/ July- August 2018). I am impressed.

Mr. Ira Levin, and also the editors, pointed out Agatha Christie is the only author who wrote more than one great mystery for the stage.

Hooked. I am moving onto another drama written by her.
