There is hardly anyone who is free from the vice of jealousy. Jealousy may arise even over very trivial matters and this leads to hatred. To get rid of hatred one must constantly practise love. Where there is love, there will be no room for jealousy and hatred, and where there is no jealousy and hatred, there is Ananda (real joy). This joy reveals itself in Beauty. "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." But what is this beauty? Is the world beautiful? Are materials and objects beautiful? These are temporary and their beauty too can only be temporary. Only God is permanent, so God alone can be said to be beautiful. The devotee's primary duty is to seek the nectar of bliss that is to be got from the contemplation of the beauty of the Lord. The means of experiencing such joy is to cultivate good qualities and get rid of bad traits.

Smartness is good but Over smartness is very bad.

There are so many employee in our company they understand they can do any thing , they can explain any thing , they think that they are more smarter than others colleague . Some are really smart but some one are not enough smart bur they show off they are also smart.

My View

Smart - Who takes right decision at right time. Who tries to understand all the thing. Who accept their mistake and keep ready to improvise him self.Who reply later ,listen first.

Over - Smart - Who understands what he is and what he does ,what he says is right, and never ready to accept that they can be wrong. Who tries to convince forcibly that what he says is always right ans never accept their faults in spite of their mistakes

At Last

There are no one is smart.There are no one is perfect. There are always chances for mistakes.Therefore, be smart but not be over smart. Smartness is this when you accept your faults and ready to learn from others.

Recently I realized that the virtue of faith is the most important virtue....Relationships can never survive without faith.. You need to have faith in your partner..You need to believe that the other person loves you as much as you do..You need to trust him..You cannot accept and move on unless you have faith that everything will be fine..You are bound to have courage,hope,strength, patience and fortitude when you have faith.. When you live in faith, you have a greater momentum towards your goal, you do not consider any obstacle in your path,rather you simply see it as a part of overall perfection ..Faith actually draws and attracts happiness..It attracts what you wish to achieve, what you want from your life, and disbelief pushes all that away..
I realize the importance of faith in life,in relationships..but something that I really want to explore and apply, is the power of faith in God...
Being an agnostic, I do not believe in any religion at all..My post Simply Ask Yourself says it all.. but then, being an agnostic and being an atheist are two different things..I do believe in God,
I believe that there exists a divine power, you may call it God, the almighty, the spiritual power or anything at all you feel like..Now, believing that God exists and having faith in God are two really different things again...
I support rationalism, and therefore, when I talk about faith,I do not consider those cases where people die in pilgrim stampede, where people slaughter lambs in the name of worship.. This blog does not talk of blind faith..
This is an attempt to explore the way some people believe that no matter what, everything will be perfect because they have faith in God..
I always wonder how diseases get cured, blind people are blessed with eyesight, just by a pilgrimage or by anything that people have absolute faith in.. all these miracles do happen..Most of you must have seen or must have heard about these...But then, we follow rationalism..We say that science does not justify this..We say that there is no possible reason for this..but then, the heart has its own reasons that reason does not follow at all...There is no reason to explain absolute faith, just like there is no way to define and explain love..
I started believing in miracles ever since I witnessed one myself.. I saw a man, who was dumb n crippled ever since he was born..He had complete faith in God n he used to stay in a temple..I saw him speak and walk properly,all of a sudden, as a result of a miracle.. It was when he saw his Guru..It was his faith in him that made the unbelievable happen..Yes, miracles do happen, but only n only for those who have absolute and unconditional faith in God, the ones who are happy in spite of all the adverse situations, because they believe that one day, their prayers will be answered...Perhaps, the sub-conscious mind does play a role in it, faith is all about how your sub-conscious mind attracts all positive energy towards itself..
We all pray to God..We all thank God when we achieve something we had really wished for..but we talk to God the most when we are sad, when we feel we are betrayed or we are deprived of something that we deserve..Asking for things to be in our favour, praying for everything to be perfect and wishing for our happiness is not faith..Faith lies in believing that we will be happy because God is there to support us, even when we have n number of hardships to face..
They say, spirituality is an unusual inner path to discover the essence of life, to discover the real values and to comprehend ourselves in the deepest manner.. Some say its meditation, some call it prayer.. but can one inculcate faith through spiritual experiences.. Can absolute belief be acquired merely by meditating or praying?
The toughest of times can sail through easily, miracles can happen, we can live with happiness and peace.. I do believe that God exists, I do believe that my prayers will be answered, I do believe that everything happens for a reason.. But do I have absolute faith? I really don't think so.. I wish to have faith, I wish to inculcate it in me, I wish to follow the path of eternal faith in God for eternal peace.. But is this possible for anyone and everyone? Is this possible given that I cannot leave the materialistic world I am addicted to? If yes, then how?

At the end, just one more thing to say, I might not have absolute faith, but I do realize its importance, I might be an agnostic, but I communicate with God in my own ways and that makes me feel relaxed n happier daily..Have faith.. It actually has that power n it surely is the most important virtue !

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.
People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learnt never to underestimate someone' s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.
When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.
It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.
2. I wish I didn't work so hard.
This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children' s youth and their partner' s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.
By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.
We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.
It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort&# 39; of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.
When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.
Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

TRUST is a very important factor for all relationships. When trust is broken, it is the end of the relationship. Lack of trust leads to suspicion, suspicion generates anger, anger causes enmity and enmity may result in separation.

We all look forward to being loved and respected. Many people are afraid of losing face. Generally, when a person makes a mistake, he would look around to find a scapegoat to point the finger at. This is the start of a war. We should always remember that when we point one finger at a person, the other four fingers are pointing at ourselves.
If we forgive the others, others will ignore our mistake too.
A person visited the government matchmaker for marriage, SDU, and requested "I am looking for a spouse. Please help me to find a suitable one." The SDU officer said, "Your requirements, please." "Oh, good looking, polite, humorous , sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing. Willing to accompany me the whole day at home during my leisure hour, if I don't go out. Telling me interesting stories when I need companion for conversation and be silent when I want to rest." The officer listened carefully and replied, "I understand you need television."
There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband ,because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. The nightmare begins.
Many relationships fail because one party tries to overpower another, or demands too much. People in love tend to think that love will conquer all and their spouses will change the bad habits after marriage. Actually, this is not the case. There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "It is easier to reshape a mountain or a river than a person's character."
It is not easy to change. Thus, having high expectation on changing the spouse character will cause disappointment and unpleasantness.
It would be less painful to change ourselves and lower our expectations.
There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "A speech will either prosper or ruin a nation." Many relationships break off because of wrong speech. When a couple is too close with each other, we always forget mutual respect and courtesy. We may say anything without considering if it would hurt the other party.
A friend and her millionaire husband visited their construction site. A worker who wore a helmet saw her and shouted,"Hi, Emily! Remember me? We used to date in the secondary school." On the way home, her millionaire husband teased her, "Luckily you married me. Otherwise you will be the wife of a construction worker." She answered ,"You should appreciate that you married me. Otherwise, he will be the millionaire and not you."
Frequently exchanging these remarks plants the seed for a bad relationship.. It's like a broken egg - cannot be reversed.
Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home,a boy commented, "Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey?"Upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, "The husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?" Hearing this, the wife
quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.
Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, "How can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman." The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, "Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you." Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.
It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future.
Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear.
This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.
Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy,I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?" The father went home & committed suicide.
Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

We are in illusion, but we are not an illusion When we are deceived by someone or something, we often ask ourselves: "What is real? How do I differentiate reality from illusion?"

Faced with such difficult differentiation, some people say, "Everything is an illusion – not only things out there, but also whatever is inside. Even our sense of I-ness is an illusion." By such blanket generalization, they put themselves in illusion about the scope of illusion. Illusion essentially means false perception. But for any kind of perception, real or illusory, the perceiver has to be real. Without a real perceiver, there won't be any perception at all, not even an illusory perception. The sight of water in a desert can be an illusion, but the seer can't be an illusion.
Pertinently, Gita wisdom asserts that we all are real because we are parts of the supreme reality (15.07). That supreme reality, the source of everything, the inexhaustible reservoir of all potency and beauty is the all-attractive transcendental person. Krishna. He is real, and we, as his parts, are also real. While analyzing the nature of existence, the Bhagavad-gita states that unconscious matter is Krishna's inferior energy (07.04) and conscious beings comprise Krishna's supreme energy (07.05).
Though we are real, we are presently dragged by our mind and senses from reality into illusion. What illusion? To mistake the temporary to be eternal; to pursue ephemeral material things that offer meager pleasure as if they were sources of lasting pleasure. This illusion can be best countered by connecting ourselves with our source. Bhakti-yoga offers a time-honored process for aligning ourselves with Krishna. When we, the infinitesimal reality, bond lovingly with the infinite reality, we relish joy eternal and become fully free from illusion.
Indeed, enlightenment centers not on rejecting our existence, but on realizing our spiritual essence.

After 21 years of Marriage, my Wife wanted me to take another Woman out to Dinner and a Movie. She said I Love You but I know this other Woman loves you and would Love to spend some Time with You. The other Woman that my Wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a Widow for 19 years, but the demands of my Work and my three Children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally.
That night I called to Invite her to go out for Dinner and a Movie.
'What's wrong, are you well,' she asked? My Mother is the type of Woman who suspects that a Late Night Call or a Surprise Invitation is a sign of Bad News.
'I thought that it would be pleasant to be with you,' I responded.
'Just the two of us.'
She thought about it for a moment, and then said, 'I would like that very much.'
That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit Nervous.. When I arrived at her House, I noticed that she too seemed to be Nervous about our Date.
She waited in the Door with her Coat on. She had Curled her Hair and was wearing the Dress that she had worn to Celebrate her last Wedding Anniversary..
She smiled from a face that was as Radiant as an Angel's.
'I told my Friends that I was going to go out with My Son, and they were impressed, She said, as she got into the Car. 'They can't wait to hear about our meeting'. We went to a Restaurant that, although not Elegant, was very Nice and Cozy. My Mother took my Arm as if She were the First Lady.
After we sat down, I had to read the Menu. Large Print. Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at me. A Nostalgic Smile was on her Lips.
'It was I who used to have to Read the Menu when you were Small,' She said. 'Then it's Time that you Relax and let me Return the Favor,' I responded.
During the Dinner, we had an Agreeable Conversation, nothing Extra-ordinary, but catching up on recent Events of each other's Life. We talked so much that we missed the Movie.
As we arrived at her House later, She said, 'I'll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.' I agreed.
'How was your Dinner Date?' asked My Wife when I got Home. 'Very Nice. Much more so than I could have Imagined,' I answered.
A few days later, my Mother died of a Massive Heart Attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn't have Time to do anything for her. Some time later, I received an Envelope with a Copy of a Restaurant Receipt from the same place Mother and I had dined.
An Attached Note Said:
'I paid this Bill in Advance. I wasn't sure that I could be there; But nevertheless, I paid for Two Plates One for You and the Other for Your Wife. You will never know what that Night meant for Me. I Love You,My Son.'
At that moment, I understood the Importance of saying in Time: 'I LOVE YOU!' and to give our Loved Ones the Time that they Deserve. Nothing in Life is more important than God and your Family. Give them the Time they Deserve, because these Things cannot be Put Off till 'Some Other Time.'
